The Center For Civic Participation
The Center for Civic Participation (CCP) evolved from the National Voice campaign after the 2004 election. When CCP took on it’s new name and role they came to us for a web presence, a volunteer web application and a graphic identity that highlights their grassroots mission of organizing voters around the country. After the work we did with National Voice in 2004, we were all tired of the “stars and stripes” look and feel of most political websites so we created a new look for CCP that is easy to recognize.
Organizing Users Online
We worked closely with the CCP team to create a custom web application that
is used by hundreds of volunteers as a "Get out the vote" community
mobilization tool. The site’s backend architecture offers integrated listervs,
community bulletin boards and fundraising tools that CCP staff use to track
and organize volunteers throughout the country.
The CCP site also serves as a gathering place for information about voting and issues related to civic life for the general public. It offers articles, localized and national calendars, volunteer matchmaking services and a network of outreach trainers who use the site to further CCP’s mission.
