Main Street Project
Main Street Project works with individuals, agencies and community-based organizations to support innovative approaches to rural economic policy. Main Street Project came to us for a site they can use as a community organizing tool for their four state civic engagement program. The site offers a complete calendar of Main Street events, an integrated mailing list feature and a discussion space that volunteers use to coordinate outreach efforts online. All of these tools integrate with an open source content management system that makes it easy for Main Street’s staff to contribute to the site as they organize from state to state.
