Sprint, Sony, Ernst & Young
Everything we know about branding we learned early on by working with D’Arcy BOS Group on their accounts for Sony, Ernst & Young and Sprint. These were some of our first clients and they came along when Flash and the Web were starting to play a major role in corporate brand development. The project mangers at D’Arcy taught us about branding when they handed us the brand guidelines for a company like Sprint and said, “Follow these or don’t come back.”
We faithfully did as they requested and along the way learned about the importance of design consistency, the logic of a brand message and how to take a design to the next level. D’Arcy, as a company, passed away during the advertising shakeout after 2001 but we are forever grateful to them for giving what was then up and coming company like ours the chance to work with such high caliber clients.
