TimeSlips featured on NPR’s Morning Edition

June 4, 2012

On May 14, National Public Radio (NPR) featured TimeSlips, calling out the site we launched for them this year. In the interview, Anne Basting, director of the Center on Age and Community at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee talks about storytelling as a way to give people with dementia a low-stress way to communicate, one that did not rely on their memories. She sees it as giving caregivers a chance to reconnect with their loved one and talks about how the online storytelling tool we built for TimeSlips helps.
