United Way of America

Our first big brand client was United Way of America. They asked us to move their print design standards into the online world by developing a set of HTML templates they could use for their conference websites. They liked the work we did for them and the project expanded to encompass a look and feel for their entire online presence including a 45 page brand website for United Way employees and local organizations.

Bringing a Brand Online
Prior to our redesign of United Way’s interactive standards, the United Way website did very little to support its brand position. The site’s colors and images were uninspiring and out of synch with the new positive colorful image United Way was trying to convey. To solve this, we worked closely with United Way brand managers to transition their public site’s look and feel to a more user-friendly design that drew on a rich set of colors and a variety of images that highlighted the diversity of United Way’s mission.
